Point to check
Has any error occurred in the
bridge module?
Check if the voltage is too low.
Check if there are any failures,
such as cable disconnection,
short circuit, and poor contact.
Is there any noise on the
transmission cable?
Is the bridge module broken?
Has the data link stop
instruction been executed
wrongly?
Check method
Check the error codes of the
bridge module.
Check the power supply of the
bridge module and those of all
slave stations.
Check if there are any failures,
such as disconnection of cables
between the bridge module and
slave stations.
Is the transmission cable located
near the power cable?
Is the FG separated from the
power-cable GND?
Decrease the transmission
speed and check the frequency
of noise occurrence.
Replace the bridge module and
check if it operates normally.
Is Data link stop (address:
5E0
.b2) on?
H
Corrective action
Correct the error of the bridge
module. ( Page 81, Section
9.4)
Adjust the supply voltage so that
it is within the specified range.
Connect the cable correctly.
Wire the transmission cable and
the power cable as far as
possible from each other. (It is
recommended that they be wired
with a distance of 100mm or
more between them.)
Separate the FG from the power-
cable GND.
Take measures against noise.
Decrease the transmission
speed.
Repair the bridge module or
replace it.
Do not turn on Data link stop
(address: 5E0
.b2). Do not use
H
a device that has read Data link
stop (address: 5E0
.b2) multiple
H
times.
