Installation and Removal of the DC PEM
Note
To meet the electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements, the DC power supply should be removed
from the chassis if the PEM has failed or the circuit breaker is off.
This section describes how to remove and install the DC PEM (see
UEQAM.

The DC PEMs are hot-swappable, so in redundant mode there is no need to power down the chassis to
replace or upgrade the DC PEMs.
