Step
Action: Connecting the gas cylinder
Secure the cylinder to prevent it from tipping over.
1.
Unscrew the protective cap from the gas cylinder.
2.
Ensure that the main valve on the cylinder is closed.
3.
Only then remove the screw cover (dummy plug) from the valve connector.
The cylinder fittings must include safety equipment.
4.
Ensure that the hand wheel or setting screw for the outlet pressure on the high
5.
pressure reducer* or cylinder pressure regulator* you wish to connect is closed
Connect the cylinder connector on the high pressure reducer or cylinder pressure
regulator to the valve connector on the gas cylinder.
6.
Do not apply any oil or grease to the thread.
Now flush the pressure reducer to ensure accuracy (see below).
7.
After the flushing cycle, connect the outlet of the pressure reducer to the appropriate
gas inlet on the GasLab Q2 using a fixed pipeline. If this is not yet possible, seal the
8.
gas pipeline with a dummy plug so that you can continue with step 9 later.
Open the main valve on the gas cylinder.
Set the outlet pressure of the high pressure reducer or cylinder pressure
