For the temperature measurement range, refer to the following.
Page 303, Appendix 2 (5) (a)
Bit data from b6 to b15 become Unused in the temperature input mode.
(a) Temperature measurement range
The temperature measurement range is as follows.
• (Input range lower limit - 5% of full scale) to (Input range upper limit + 5% of full scale)
Calculation for the case when CH Input range (address: 100H, 130H, 160H, 190H) is 38 and the
Ex.
temperature measurement range is -200.0 to 400.0
• Input range lower limit - 5% of full scale = -200 - ((400.0 - (-200.0))  0.05) = -230.0
• Input range upper limit + 5% of full scale = 400 + ((400.0 - (-200.0))  0.05) = 430.0
Therefore, the temperature measurement range is -230.0 to 430.0.
The temperature control module checks whether the input temperature is within temperature measurement
range of the input range. If the input temperature is out of the temperature measurement range, CH Input
range upper limit (b0 of RWr4 to RWr7) or CH Input range lower limit (b1 of RWr4 to RWr7) turns to 1 (ON).
The conditions which the temperature control module uses to judge whether the measured temperature is
within the temperature measurement range or not differ depending on the following settings.
• CH Stop mode setting (address: 118H, 148H, 178H, 1A8H) ( Page 336, Appendix 3 (27))
