To limit the bandwidth in kilobytes per second of a specified Gigabit Ethernet interface, use the ips
netsim max-bandwidth-kbps command in SAN extension tuner configuration submode.

Defaults
Disabled.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must enable the IP Network Simulator using the ips netsim enable command.
Examples
The following example shows how to limit the interface bandwidth to 4500 Kbps.

switch(config)# san-ext-tuner enable
switch(config)# exit
switch#
switch# ips netsim max-bandwidth-kbps 4500 ingress gigabitethernet 2/3
