Configuring the Flag for Path Trace
Purpose
Enters the global configuration mode.
Enters the controller mode of the WAN-PHY SPA. In
this example, it enters slot 1 of SIP 2.
Passes the string of J1 bytes specified to the remote
end of WAN-PHY SPA.
In this example, the string value
passing_string_from_localend is transmitted to the
remotely connected WAN-PHY SPA.
Exits Controller-configuration (config) mode and enters
global configuration mode.
Exits global-configuration (config) mode and enters
privilege-exec mode.
This command must be executed on the remotely
connected SPA. The command output displays the
string of J1 byte values transmitted from the other end
of the WAN-PHY SPA to check the path.
In this example, the last line Remote J1 Byte, of the
show controller wanphy 2/2/0 command output
indicates that the string value
passing_string_from_localend has been sent from the
other end of the WAN-PHY SPA.
