Shutting Down and Removing the Cisco WebEx Node SPA
Because the Cisco WebEx Node SPA has a hard disk drive (HDD), it is necessary to shut down gracefully
before physically removing the SPA from the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Router. This action allows the operating
system to unmount the file system and put the HDD in standby mode to prevent data corruption or physical
damage to the HDD.
The Cisco WebEx Node SPA can be shut down in one of two ways:
• You can use the hw-module subslot stop command to gracefully shut down the SPA before physically
